Sub: Amendment regarding GO 293- Regarding

3. GO 293 dated 03.1.24
The GO 293 had been amended two times viz., 04.9.23 and 03.01.24 so that the following benefits can be obtained by the TN government doctors.
1. PG increment.
2. All the degree diploma holders will get the same amount of allowance.
LCC is sincerely thanking for your efforts to bring the above two amendments. At the same time, on behalf of TN government doctors, LCC is also requesting you for an important amendment in the aforesaid GO 293.
“The additional expenditure on account of advancing DACP is a burden that the state can ill afford at this juncture, given its high revenue deficit. There’s no justification in advancing DACP, since it would only serve to enhance emoluments of general MOs rather than specialists.”
LCC is requesting the govemment through yourself to remove these two sentences from the GO 293. If certain amendments could be done by your efforts, we hope that this request could also be done by your efforts. This is basically doe to the fact that all the government doctors are in favour of the advancement of DACP for which we are struggling hard since 2009.
